"Eat more vegetables and lean protein sources. Exercise more."
The widely accepted advice of nutrition literature and experts, since early 1900.
---
Vegetables:
-indigestible
-create friction and gas
-reduces nutritional value of other foods by sucking up fluids
Lean proteins:
-digest slowly
-heavy work for liver and kidneys
-lack important fat-solvable nutrients
Exercise:
-increases spending rate of most nutrients
-increases hunger
-wears down tissues that need plentiful nutrients to recover
---
While none of the above (except vegetables to some degree) are directly harmful on their own, the combining of the 3, while trying to deny the body its best source for energy and nutrients (fat), is a recipe for total disaster.
Some of the likely outcomes are:
-uncontrolable cravings and weight gain
-malnourishment related problems (fatigue, depression)
-lowered immune function (infectious disease, colds)
-back pains, chronic joint/tendon pains, frequent tears etc
-intestine break down (pains, IBS, crohns, ulcer)
(And thats only the effects I have experienced personally. Im sure there is more.)
